The short that became a show

Originally slated as a short online film we created a 24’ TV show documenting comedian Lloyd Griffith’s search for the EA Team of the Year. Traversing across Europe we interviewed some of the best soccer minds in the world to help Lloyd make his final decision of the best 11.

After launch and quickly amassing several million views on Youtube it was picked up by Sky Sports to run as a one-off pilot in the UK.  It was a huge break for our main host, Lloyd Griffith, as he went on to become the co-host of Sky Sports Soccer AM. At the time this was the longest piece of content produced within W+K Amsterdam with the production approach being replicated in subsequent longer content pieces. .
