Early research in this project uncovered a post about a pitch in Madeira where Ronaldo played as a child. Digging deeper we realized the pitch was in rough condition. In celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo setting the international goal record we reconstructed this childhood pitch, adorned it with custom made goalposts with illustrations from Portuguese artist AKA Corleone highlighting 15 moments of his career and topped it off with a love letter film to the island. Implementing a coordinated social first approach, the film was viewed more than 10 million times in the hours after launch.
